Here’s how to do it:

  1. Whisk together butter, vegetable oil, sugar and cocoa powder in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir until combined. Stir in the flour. Add the chocolate chips.
  2. Pour batter into 9×9-inch pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle with more chocolate chips, if desired. Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until just set and shiny on top. Let cool before cutting into squares.
