1/4 cup chocolate flavored syrup
250 grams of whole wheat flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
a pinch of salt
100 grams of melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 cup of honey
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon chilli flakes
2 mixing bowls
1 wooden spatula
Preheat the oven to 160°C. In a mixing bowl, sift the whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt. Add roasted oats, chili flakes and mix well. Reserve until use. Take another bowl and add melted butter with vanilla and whisk it. To this mixture, add the eggs and whisk until combined.
Now add the honey, chocolate flavor syrup and whisk until combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix well using a wooden spoon or spatula until everything comes together like a paste. Cover the dough and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, brush a baking sheet with a little oil or butter and line it with parchment paper. After 30 minutes, remo
peel the dough and divide it into equal parts. Now start quickly shaping the dough into round cookies. Place the shaped cookies on the lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-13 minutes at 160°C or until the edges begin to appear golden and brown.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool. Serve with milk or just like that. You can also store them in an airtight container.
