Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and Gideon’s Bakehouse team up for 407 Day Exclusive – Orlando Sentinel

What’s more Orlando than a holiday called 407 Day?

How about an exclusive one-day collaboration between two of the city’s finest powerhouses: Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and Gideon’s Bakehouse?

The two have successfully teamed up before, but this one is extra special, and not just because it’s a celebration of the beautiful city.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Gideon’s again,” said Kelly Siedl, Kelly’s founder. “And this couple is a match made in heaven.”

Typically, Kelly’s Alligator Tracks ice cream is just an annual treat.

“But we had to bring him back for a day – just for this duet.”

It’s a citrus powerhouse, which sees this fan favorite – orange zest ice cream with toasted almonds and dark chocolate chunks – topped this month’s exclusive Gideon’s Bakehouse offering. : Stuart’s Cookie, an orange pecan chocolate chip confection that celebrates the flavors of Florida. Fusing orange flavors with their vanilla bean cookie dough, the bakers add dark chocolate, crunchy pecan pralines and candied orange peel.

The pairing will be available at Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream Scoop Shops for one day only – from 3 p.m. until sales end on April 7. This $9 deal is only sold as a combination of cookies and ice cream. If cookies are sold out, Alligator Tracks ice cream will be available by the scoop and pint until sold out. There will be 76 cookies at Kelly’s Corrine Drive store, 37 each at the Oviedo and Fern Creek locations. Limit: two per guest. No pre-orders.

The pairing is a Kelly exclusive and will not be available at Gideon’s East End Market stand.
