Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Launches Exclusive Lubbock Berry Flavor

Fashion and ice cream come together thanks to a new partnership between Lubbock Howdy’s Homemade Ice Cream and Vera Bradley.

Howdy Homemade, which helps create employment opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, now offers Vera Bradley Very Berry flavor exclusively in Lubbock. The partnership comes from Gyorgi Szenttornyay, daughter of the owners of the Lubbock store, and her love of bags Vera Bradley.

“Although she can’t see colors and patterns like you and me, she has a vision in her mind of what exactly they look like and that makes her super happy to imagine,” said Carol Reid, director General Manager of the Lubbock Vera Bradley Store. “It’s truly amazing to see someone find such pleasure in our products. Vera Bradley is thrilled to support Howdy Homemade through a partnership that truly exemplifies the heart of our brand.”

The store has also donated aprons to ice cream shop employees and is offering 10% off coolers to customers who present a receipt from Howdy Homemade.
