Edinburgh takeaway to serve ‘neon lattes’ and ‘loaded brownies’ at the Meadows Kiosk
A delicious new Edinburgh takeaway promising hot chocolates and eye-catching ‘neon’ lattes is about to open in one of the capital’s most beloved green spaces.
Bon plans to serve mouth-watering sweet treats including “stuffed” cookies and “loaded” brownies alongside its signature drinks when it begins serving customers on West Meadows in April.
A full menu has yet to be revealed, but owner Paul Connolly has already teased foodies in the capital with a number of mouth-watering creations on Instagram – including hot chocolate Biscoff smores and raspberry ripple latte.

The “self-contained take-out” kiosk will be located a few meters from the children’s play park, near the area croquet club.
Paul told how he started the business after plans to open an events company were scrapped by the covid pandemic.
And he now hopes the takeaway will be a hit with locals as the latest addition to Edinburgh’s bustling cafe scene.
“The food and beverage offering will largely be based around our unique hot chocolates and locally produced baked goods, such as stuffed cookies and loaded brownies,” he said.

“There are plans to add ice cream in the summer months as well, so good!
“We will only be take-out due to restrictions in the meadows, but plenty of seating is available in the immediate area, as well as a play park right in front of us to keep the kids busy while parents can grab a coffee. “
Bon is scheduled to open on Friday, April 1.
